Reference: CW Era Cap Pouch

Here is the cap pouch I have that I guess to be CW era. No real way to tell as they had many variations, makers, etc. There are no markings on this one. But it is old and frail for sure. Hey if I was 140 years old I would be too.

Reference: McKeever Pouch For .30 Caliber

For reference is my McKeever pouch. It has capability of holding 20 rounds. McKeever pouches were used from the Indian Wars, Span Am, The Phillippines, and right up to before WW1. The older ones had loops big enough for the 45-70, mine would have held the smaller 30-40 Krag. I would date my example as late 1890s to the first two or three years of the 1900s. Enjoy!
