This hat dates from the 60's to 70's, DPM was introduced to the British Army in 1960 in a very very small quantity.

62 wow that's a large one! That's a lovely colour, usually ended up having the brim cut down, think my old one was a similar shade (yes I cut the brim down and made it into a ghillie hat for sniper use!) whoops
