Iraqi Made Copy of the US LBV Empty Iraqi Made Copy of the US LBV

I have had this piece in my collection for years now, but just found it again while looking for another piece of militaria.  This is an Iraqi made copy of the US LBV, but instead of being made for AR magazines, it is made for AK magazines.  Outside color is woodland, but the inside is made of Iraqi DPM camouflage.  Buttons are made by DASH and chrome buckles are made by POLI.

I showed this to another collector and he said he thought it could have been used by the Kurds early in OIF.  Thoughts?  Any pics of these in use?

Highly possible to be Kurdish, the magazine reinforcing reminds me of Turkish Assault vests that were supplied over the years to the Kurds. (Not saying it is Turk Manufactured, though).
