Thanks richard ,its a section of polish parachute camo in rip stop material ,here are the rest of my collection ,three of the earlier wz 50's one has the night vision attachment which i still need to rig up and what better time of year and the lightweight peace keeping wz 67 made of a fiberglass material [/url]

Thanks austro and alex ,yes the night vision is a one piece unit unlike the tank helmets which require a secondary mount for the lamp ,these would be tank mounted but i have seen smaller hand held lamps too ,this unit must be for stand alone ground troops ,ive yet to energise the unit but the power pack is pretty small requiring the right batteries,i will do this one day or should i say night for sure ,i will also dig out my us gw1 desert night grid pattern camo to test its effectiveness with this generation one IF ,as for wearing the contraption i can confirm it is very front heavy when the eye pieces are not in use ,most certainly a cold war item and i think issued around the early 1970's or perhaps slightly earlier

A small update wz 2005 with the earlier 3 point chinstrap ,i believe the 4 point was issued in 2008
