Experimental 4 Tone Desert DPM Medical Pouches PECOC?

Picked these up the other day and were advertised as Experimental 4 tone Desert DPM Medical pouches.

No tags on the items. They do have heavy duty zips like other PECOC items and also the same durable condura.

They are sort of oval and don't have much depth so they can't hold a lot of gear. Also unusual is the integrated carrying arms.

I have put a couple Arid PECOC pouches next to it and it's either had a lot of wear or it's a different pattern altogether?! I asked the chap I got it from if he had the Bergan and no look!!

They don't look like Med pouches but I don't know what they are for. Sorry

Thanks James, I agree. Don't know what they were designed for...Bowman (sorry Comms not my area of speciality!) maybe, seen a couple of DPM (thin) day sacks to carry them???

I was a medic but I had rather a lot to do with the sigs, I was on Bowman Trials Team for a year, I don't think it's BOWMAN either.

It may, possibly be some kind of side pouch for an ECM pack

I know George. The thing I don't seem to grasp is the Pattern, doesn't look like the Arid stuff part of PECOC but then the material and zips match a lot of my collection?! James could be right about ECM but I have a MTP and Coyote Tan ECM packs and these are geared up with masses of ventilation to reduce heat...the above pack has no ventilation. Could it be an international item?

I was thinking of side pouches for ancillary ECM kit to go on the side of the ECM Daysack/Bergens. Those additional zips have me stumped as well I have seen something similar on the old YEOMAN equipment but so far as I know it was only made in DPM

can the two side pouches buggy up with each other so that one can be worn as a patrol sack with the other zipped to its back?

Good call that James. Yep they can be zipped together to make a Daysack. What's people's view on the pattern? PECOC? Could it be Middle East?

It's the same pattern of the Sniper Smock I got from the MOD disposals a year or so ago, was badged as British but I think the general consensus was it was for the Middle East...

Could be British attached to somewhere like Oman, Jordan. It would be good to find out, I wonder if CQC would help?
