I recently acquired this unusual IDF smock. I have not seen one before and I can not find any references or photos despite extensive searching. It is made from a fine dense cotton which looks and feels like ventile to me. The only markings are the IDF stamps on the chest and a date inside of 1969. Does anyone know anything about this type of garment?

Re: IDF Smock
Bought a pair in 1996. Mine have the same markings yours have but I've been unable to find out more about them and I've never seen any pics on them being worn by the IDF. I met a few people who served in the IDF who had never seen this type of smock.
