Pea Dot Parkas,how many different types were there?

Sorry if that is a dumb question but Im not a collector of Austrian gear but do love the pea pattern cammo and now have 3 parkas in the collection and all 3 are different.

From memory the dates are 58,59 and 60 and have just noticed that on one at least,the sleeves are stupidly short in proportion to the parka itself which is quite long in the body.

In short, there are 6 types:

M57 Infantry
M57 Armored
Transitional (M58/59)
M59 Infantry
M59 Armored
M69 Universal

Production for M57 started in 1957, Transitional 1958/59, M59 in 1959, and M69 in 1969.

The 1958 long Parka I have has smooth green painted snaps,as opposed to rough textured ones and inside to the rear has what in US Tankers clothing looks like a large extraction loop but am guessing Austrian Tankers wouldnt be using such a large bulky parka inside an AFV?

No, they used a shorter tanker jacket with just 2 breast pocket, I posted 2 jackets in my austrian thread for reference. There are two versions, the early one with snaps and a zipper(KAZ 57) and the other version with button and zipper (KAZ59).
