SANDF Soldier 2000 Camo Webbing

Hi Guys,

I thought i would post a few pics of my recently acquired SANDF Soldier 2000 Camo Webbing - Niemoller style. These are pretty difficult to get hold of!

I really like this camo pattern! Your webbing is only the third or fourth item I have seen in this pattern, though. (outside of official SANDF photos). Very nice addition!

Nice Niemoller vest. It looks like they've been playing around with the layout since the earlier S2000 versions. They've ditched the rear kidney pouch, and the side pouches look removeable? The braces seem odd, as there is nothing to keep them from sliding off your shoulders. You really need a shoulder yoke setup to keep that from happening. I wonder why they deleted that?

Any labels? My S2000 webbing is all Fieldswear produced.

I'm not sure if they have ditched the rear kidney pouch, it might just be that mine is missing as it seems most on this set is removable. Perhaps there is a detachable kidney pouch?? Yip you are correct the side pouches are removable. There are a few clips on the rear top and bottom which could suggest there is a detachable camel-pack. I might be getting my hands on an official "catalog" for SANDF webbing which apparently shows all the detachable items. Will let you know if i get it. Regarding the braces there is a strap coming from the left and right brace which clips together in the middle - this is in the front, basically on the chest, which would suggest that would stop them from slipping off. Labels wise nothing at all and no place where one could say they have been removed, and it is an unused item.

I recently acquired a brand new set of this webbing from a friend.
Mine still has the label attached.
It has a very strange layout compared to other SANDF webbing i have and im sure like yours there is something missing from it like extra pouches.

Got this reply from a buddy.

"It was a specific webbing made for 1 Tactical Intelligence Regiment. It is a new concept but not general issue. Not SF though."
