    Woodland helmet cover ID

Post by 1stDivVet on Thu May 04, 2017 4:27 pm

Need a little help guys. I picked up a woodland camo helmet cover for a M1 type helmet. It isn't US. The colors are to light and the material is wrong. It's not US ERDL either. Same reasons. Material is poly/cotton. Print does not go thru at all. No stamps or tags.

There is, I am pretty sure, a cover like this one that was made for/used by the Dutch army in the 1980s. I have one that I pulled from a bin full of ordinary Dutch DPM covers for the M53. They also turn up in photos from time to time. I will have to take a look at my cover again to see if it might be the same.
