    Japanese Bring Back Sword

Post by bryang on Sat Jan 27, 2018 12:44 am

A friend picked this up at the local flea market.  Grandson had cleaned out grandfather's things - and very sadly tossed away the uniform and other items.

This is the first of these I've had, and I really don't know much about them.  Blade has rust, though its still relatively sharp.

Please educate me on this.  Should I clean it - if so how?  Should I just leave it as it is, etc

    Thanks -

I don't know swords in particular, but I would not change anything on this one. Treasure it as it is.
