Am I right that this Kit cannot be worn together ? Especially I think of the belt and the straps.

    Dear massive:

All can be worn together in old Spanish army.
Even I must say I have not seen that belt ever, even my speciality is Spanish Legion and our equipment was further different most times.

That belt is from a US Navy/Marine Corp issue life vest. I can't find the correct name for it, we used to call them LPU-1s, but that isn't what it is. See attached ebay link. They are still issued for use by the infantry in AAVs (the Spanish Marine Corps uses AAVs, it may have come to be part of your set that way?). http://www.ebay.com/itm/VIETNAM-WAR-VINTAGE-U-S-NAVY-MAE-WEST-LIFE-PRESERVER-DATED-1968-/152132422856?hash=item236bcc8cc8:g:CIgAAOxyQBJRFB-r

Sellers can say whatever, anyway we have used many american equipment along the Franco period. Even we copied some designs and made them in Spain.

    So the possibility exists.
