    Chocolate Chips

Post by 1stDivVet on Sat Sep 05, 2009 7:33 pm

Found these while looking for some other stuff.. Taken at Port Columbus Airport when I came home from mop up operations in the fall of 91.

Note the Russian belt and buckle.. I got this off an advisor we waxed.

LOL It was actualy kinda 'issue'.. A lot of us intel guys 'aquired' Soviet belts one way or another.. I had a guy rat me out for wearing it back at Ft Huachuka only to have our Bn CO show him and I her Officer pattern one..LOL I'll dig around.. I thought that was the one I have worn to the point it's almost white, but the big dark brown splotch on the right sleeve isn't on the faded one, so that one is probably stuffed in my duffle bag.. I'll see if it is. I think I got patches on it now tho.. That was the clean set I got to wear home.. It had the tapes only and nothing else. We added our other insignia when we got home.

    Fins.
