    UN neck scarf thingy

    OK...I need help with the name of what this is exactly...I got this off of Steve G, it came with a Spanish Legion uniform...is it a sash, a belt or ?

    It looks like a cravat, sort of a fat tie worn around the neck to dress up for a parade.

    It's a UN neck scarf for parade/sentry duties with the uniform collar open. It's not specific to Legion. I'm not exactly sure how to "tie" it Wink

    On this picture, officer on left wear that "cravat". Picture was taken on UN medal parade in UNPROFOR mission in Zagreb HQ, 1995 I presume. I'm the one in the middle. Left is Franch, and right Spanish officer, both a friends of mine.
