    I love this pattern. Much better than the woodland. I have a few of these in my collection as well. The straight pocket types are often referred to as RDF jackets.

    There is a very rare 1975. A guy I know purchased a mismatched set on eBay thinking it was a typical "Transitional" uniform, but in fact it was an experimental version inbetween ERDL and Transitional. It is the same as Transitional but in non-ripstop poplin. The labels state:

    Coat, Hot Weather, Camouflage, Model B
    Defense Personnel Support Center

    Trousers, Hot Weather, Camouflage, Model C
    Defense Personnel Support Center

    Contract numbers were blacked out and there was no standard number with date, but he did see a contract date of 1975 on one of the two items.

    Here is a picture of three variations of Transitional colors:

    Green Dominant, Woodland style, and what I think was a bad batch of cloth that faded out rather interestingly.

    It's a pity Woodland superseded ERDL...ERDL is one of my all time fave camo patterns...
