Nice Warrant Officers Jacket I've had for a while. This guy used be an NCO, as evidenced by the ghost of the rank patch on the sleeve, the ghost can be seen quite clearly on the left sleeve. Based on the size of the ghost I'm thinking he was an E7 before he was promoted to Warrant.

Maybe it was reissued or re-decor'ed before you got it..Im finding morw and more ppl re-decor items to get more for them..I saw it done first hand w/ a 1968 mint issue OD Jungle blouse i traded off..It was blank when i traded it to him..3 days later you would have thought the wearer won the war himself..

It is so hard to speculate as to the career of a soldeir based on a fatigue jacket. The period that is reflected in this shirt is one of great transistion. I would think this guy would've just bought a new set once entering warrent officer school.
