Interesting that the pattern has also changed. I guess I should start looking for some of the new issue uniforms because all my items are from the 1990s.

It looks like the new pattern has dialed-down the khaki compared to the previous version.

The repeat is between 37.5 and 38cm for first and second drawing of the pattern and 30cm for the parka first issue

Compare: Same pattern as first drawing but repeat is 30cm

    Interesting!

So, it looks like the 1st Pattern and 2nd Patterns are nearly identical, but the 2nd Pattern is "compressed" so that the shapes are smaller and the pattern repeats sooner?

    Hello
The repeat for the first drawing of the pattern and the second is betwen 37.5 and 38cm (identical)
But the parka first issue with first drawing has a repeat of 30 cm

hi gilles, actually there is a tag on the pants, i have to double check the jacket, but i don't have it with me (i use the pants to go to work)
The tag only states the fabric material and is written in french and german, no manufacture tag nothing else only the size - "L"

    thanks for your help

    cheers
