Hi.
Nice looking Mitchell,the V looks to be ,24th Infantry division marked.
The lid has post '72 chinstraps,so I am guessing a late 70's issue lid,I would not mind seeing more details shots of the lid itself,to ID it further.
The cat's eyes were not used until the 80's ,so I am guessing someone attached them a lot later in the covers life,these Mitchell covers were used up to the late 70's,then were replaced by the ERDL Woodland pattern,with the cat eye helmet band.....cool custom cover like it a lot
