This uniform is on display at the American History museum in DC and is said to have been worn by a US advisor to Vietnam in the early stages of the conflict, labeled as "tiger stripe" pattern.
To me it looks a lot like the old British WWII brushstroke camouflage material, cut in the style of one of the Vietnam-era uniforms.
This looks nothing like any variant of tiger stripe I've ever seen... anyone have any idea what the heck it is?
