    Hi Guys.

    These are the Curent issue Desert Boots for the troops serving in Afghanistan.

    They were fairly pricy,and hopefully will last me a while...enjoy Wink

    Exellent boots great fit BETTER than the standard DUtch army Meindl fox series.

    The problem with the Meindl ....The sole will not last 4 months of deplyment.

    These are still holding up well since I posted these up, the only fault I have discovered is the grey rubber toe cap has come unglued from the suede.

    Interesting the Dutch are using Meindl's too.

    I own a pair ofcourse or else I couldn,t comment.

    I collect military shoes from many brands.Mostley the Meindl boots are exellent .
    I own boots from many brands I have around 50 pairs of mil boots.

    I test them myself in my free time and at my work.

    Hi J,yes I guessed you were talking from first hand experience, and like yourself I have many Army boots I use in my spare time, but I do not have 50 pairs!!!

    My most comfy are German Mountain boots ( Lowa branded) these got me through many a winter riding my bike to work and back Smile

    Bugger me 50 pairs of Military footware I can imagine what the wife would say somthing like GET THAT RUBBISH OUT OF MY HOUSE NOW its allways her house unless somthing needs fixing then its our house
    I have nothing against the Lowas I just think the Meindls look more gucci I missed out on a pair of lowas BNB on evilbay a few weeks back they went for about 20 quid if the price is right and I can hide them from the wife I will probaly have a pair of each.
