I see an auction on Gunbroker for this item...here's the link http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=215635116
well..the location is Pensacola, Florida, home to US Navy's Air academy I think, as well as USMC possibly...its a 1997 dated body armor from Second Chance, a company which makes vests mainly for police (my father has a simialar vest from them, in blue and black color)...my guess at first is that it's for police departments, such as the Sheriffs or highway patrolmen...but the location of said armor makes me wonder...might the military have used them to supplement the PASGT armor, before IBA came in? I kind of doubt that, since PASGT is already in system for so long and provides better protective coverage than this..

want to know what you armor experts say about this...I know it's not MOLLE compatible lol; but it's like predates the IBA by a year or two....
