    Hi Guys.

I picked this one up in the week, my question is though, what "model" is it.

I also paid £ 15.00 ...is that good for one of these?

That's a very good price. I'm no Aussie expert but I think it's the latest version (Land125).

Hahaha yeah I have a collector mate in England and he always has the worst luck finding Aussie gear, Its great when the surplus gods deal you a good hand though...
Hopefully this stuff should be a bit easier to find in a few years time, when more guys leave the services and ditch their gear on ebay and at disposals, or when they change the cut again, Ive actually heard that we are doing away with the chest rank soon and bringing in collar ranks like the US as when armour is being worn there is no way of telling what rank somebody is, so maybe new shirts will be made but knowing what our government is like I doubt it

    @ AIF
spot on, Ironside. Do you know the owner? How is he like? cos the person who served was an old(?)bearded man. When i was there they stocked heaps of land 125 dpcu/dpdus , dcus , acus , etc. Tell your mate its an excellent store!
and yea, sorry for being capt obvious on the Australian thing, ive met people on forums who (pardon my expression) bullshit about their nationality

No I dont know the owner but a good friend of mine has known him for years, and usually lets me know If there is anything I want in thee and gets it for next to nothing for me, I live on the Goldcoast otherwise I would have been there 100 times already...lol, If you get on ebay often, which I guess you would the owner sells under the name sabresqnsasr.

yea, sabresqnsasr, i bought some tees of him once! He gets stuuf at low cost beacuse his shop is located around the corner from RMC Duntroon, so those who either upgraded to sord gear or leave that place or army sells their stuuf for decent prices (thats wat he told me)

so your from brisvegas ehh? haha

    Thanks Mate.

Yeah it's ok,but I can't always rely on it to stock non-brit stuff, occasionally it will have the odd gem or two, this shirt being one of them!!

The funny thing is I had paid for some other kit ,then noticed the shirt hanging up,I was like "hang on a minute, that looks like OZ cam, gotta have it" Very Happy

Yeah Mate,Oz kit is not that common over here,I did get another Oz shirt last year,on ebay, the guy looked to be selling off all his Oz collection, and I wish I'd had the cash to buy it all off him ,but it's SO pricey over here!!!!

Moving the chest rank epaulette would make sense,it's just like the Brit stuff..never made sense to me to have the rank on the chest, suppose our GOV's are the same really, one day they will realise the US has got it right with their kit, so maybe will follow suit....but like you say,I doubt it too Wink

Let's hope the Gods of Surplus will be smiling on us all, next time we hit the shops Very Happy
