    Hate to say this but had 4 of these and repainted the other 3 OD and sold as WW2 type liners(also removed the white stamped details from inside them as well).

    No worries mate, these Parade helmets were worn by the Wachbattallion der Bundeswehr ( West German Guards Battalian).

    They were used up until the B826 lid was introduced , therefore around 1992 approx, and were then discontinued, as the troops were then issued a Plastic B826 shaped parade helmet.

    And it is common for these to be used as WW2 replacement liners, I know, cos' I got stung, when I bought an M1 off ebay a few years back Laughing

    And it's not a biggee, about being stung, after that I asked if there were any embosssed stamps in the crown of the liner , I got some gems over the years...once bitten twice shy Laughing
