    Southen Air Transport shirt

Post by nkomo on Mon Mar 23, 2009 2:45 am

I picked up this shirt a few days ago. It is quite an interesting shirt from a now defunct airline called Southern Air Transport. Seems as if SAT was a front company for the Central Intelligence Agency. This airline did a lot of work in Central America (Honduras, El Salvador, and Nicaragua) and in Africa (Angola). These types of shirts don't come up for sale very often. If you want to read some more about SAT.....here are some links to check out:

This shirt was used by a ground-crew member or possibly a load-master. This set also came with a nice tiger-stripe uniform that has a Portugese tag in the pants. Supposedly came from the same gentleman.
