    I received these in a bulk purchase 20 years ago. Any idears?

    I think the big golden one is German, I believe that they had a patch with a leaflet similar to that which was supposed to do with snipers. It may be a postwar award or something for marksmanship.

    FRG. It is a Bundeswehr "jaegertruppen" beret badge. Jaeger litteraly means hunter ( think Jaegermeister, hic) but in the military term it also means fighter. For instance, as in Falschirmjaeger, or "paratrooper" as we would say. In this case, with the badge it refers to light infantry, etc..
