Rare bit of kit! This is the 2nd Model with hidden buttons. The 1st Model had exposed buttons but was, I think, identical in all other ways.

    Sweet uniform!
I've got a good friend living in NZ but she said it's nigh on impossible to get her hands on kit to send me, (especially since she's a civilian) so she told me that she cannot help to "fuel" my addiction. lol!

    Ben,
Did you check with Roan Gouws in New Zealand? He may be able to hook you up with some good trades. Wink

DESERT UNIFORM set Empty NZ Desert Uniform set

    Hi Ben,
Yeah old Roannie is here. His IACMC identifier is Slangvel77. Send him a PM and I bet he will help you out. We have been friends for a long time. Ask any of the old timers and they will vouch for him. I like to rag on him from time to time, but it is all in fun. His nickname is smoke-eater. Wink

Nice shed Very Happy I've not come upon one before. It's a pretty simplistic design, compared to some of them out there. I like it.

If you can snag any extra, I'd love to trade for one. I don't think I have a helmet cover either.

    Cheers,

Even if you pulled the armor panel out of it?

Not trying to stir anything up, just trying to figure out what's restricted.

The Brits sell armor covers all the time (yes, I know you guys aren't Brits).

I've been trying to figure out what to stuff in an empty armor cover or empty plate carrier that'd be stiff enough to "make it look like it should", but not be as heavy as an actual armor panel.

I had a mate who used styrofoam in place of plates during a exercise, none of us noticed untill end ex when throwing his kit on the truck!!
