Pineapples, late 90s early 2000s Timor issued. Old uniform and a pair of brand trou to compare.





Brand new current issue.




Old style shirt in the new DPM material, I havent seen many of these around, maybe a trial? 2/1RNZIR may know.




Diesel pattern mid 90s.





Old issue 2000s to about 2008 but still in use today.




Alot of other styles and patterns out there will put some more up when I can get some more.

I heard that the old new shirt had omething to do with the manufacturer still contracted to produce the old style shirt but they only had the new ripstop material???, any word on the proposed multi cam coming on line?

Nice Action Man trousers, I've a pair of those myself, 86 dated... the only bit of NZ DPM I own, actually.

I saw them from a mile off in the surplus shop and snatched them up!

Multicam lol, Recon was trialing it but the groupies snatched them all back and thats the last Ive heard, but bro bro broughten said they would be coming soonish.

Will have to raid my old mans gear, i think he still has a smock in the action man pattern lol

Those smocks are rarer than rocking horse poo to find... but such a neat pattern!

picked up a smock today for 20NZD good nick but missing buttons and hood but esay enough to fix and when i tried to zip it up i broke the zip lol

got me a set of kiwi dpms

I got lucky and found a pair at an army surplus store, lying folded and forgotten in the bowels of an overstuffed shelf.

I'm not really sure where you'd be able to source a pair... eBay perhaps? I've seen NZ DPM turn up on there from time to time.

Cheers, we was considering moving over to NZ but scrapped the idea, wish we had now!

Do you remember trying to match up a "7B" uniform in the 90's haha those were the days, - Cedar Green RNZIR beret, creases in your new diesel FULL MATCHING set, shirt tucked in with corps belt proudly showing and pants pulled up too your belly button, a razor sharp crease in your brassard and John Bulls with a few die hards still with spit polished toes and heels, bloused at the TOP of your boots of course.

Yeah mate the new gear has ended that issue, I had stone wash trou on basic and it took me 7 weeks to get a matching set of decent ones and i still have my King leos that gives me an idea maybe ill post boots tomorrow.
