I think Bahrain used the 4 Print stuff, maybe they used the turtle?

My Para smock is the same mate, it has the windy material aswell, I've heard it was Brit Company that made my smock for 3 Para in 2003, however how true this is I don't know, could be a Survival Aids, Arktis or SASS. Will post pics later.

They use the sparse desert with the ghost shapes like found on British frag vest covers.

As for the para smock, Im guessing if any of the above made them then a tag would be somewhere if only a size one ? No ink stamps which you find in a lot of vintage stuff or even stich holes from a removed tag ? I wonder if could be in house short run sewing sample where tags are not used ?

Does it have a really small white size tag at the top? and mine doesn't have either, might have been the same company producing them.

Nothing, not even remains of one that's been torn out.

very nice trousers richard ,the sparse pattern seems impossible to get hold of ,im trying to knock together an op granby display using the pre 95 pattern ddpm ,ive a set of scott goggles inbound but have to admit i dont actually own a period mk6 helmet apart from the falklands mk6 trails helmet and a later afghanistan war 2001> mk6 with visor  ,so im using this para lightweight instead British Desert Trousers. - Page 2 072_zps9oh9gosy

thanks richard ,you never cease to amaze me with your militaria collection ,it must be a sight to behold ,i thought you might appreciate the work ive done so far ,you might recognise the belt you kindly supplied the last time we traded ,i was going to go down the plce road webbing wise but opted for the private purchase arktis rig instead ,i have it also in good faith that 58 webbing was also used by some frontline troops still using the slr L1A1 the info was kindly provided by a former desert rat
