Tiger stripe versus Lizard Empty Tiger stripe versus Lizard

Post by John Brown Sun Sep 18, 2011 2:15 pm

I am not that keen a collector to know the minutiae, but it seems to me that the tiger stripe and lizard pattern came from the same thought process.

Is there something to this, or is it me just seeing things?

It gets even more confusing when discussing the various patterns used by countries like Yugo/Serbia, Portugal, Taiwan, Greece, Ecuador, various African nations, etc. that use their own similar patterns. Generally people break them down as either Tiger Stripe or Lizard, depending on which the uniform more closely resembles.

    Lets jump ahead .
This is a Vietnamese produced 47-56 set made for a US advisor thus proving The Vietnamese made the fabric themselfs.
This set came with several others including a Tiger cut , WW2 USMC pattern , and several others .

    Hello Owen
Can you take other pictures of these garment
The cut is a little different of TAP56 garment
French army has never used TAP56 during Indochina war
The pattern look like F2 pattern but a little different too
