    I'll start this thread off with some British made Web Equipment Pattern 1937.
    All the components of this set are mid war dated.

    This set is also British made with mid war dates.
    This set is for an Officer minus the Binocular case.
    Note these Braces (Shoulder straps) are of the 3 piece construction unlike the single piece woven construction shown above.

    A close up of the Pistol Holster, which is shown suspended from the Pistol Ammo pouch.
    It could also be attached directly to the belt.
    On the opposite side is the Compass pouch.

    Note the particular Australian method of Brace manufacture. Also note the multicolors used in manufacture, even within components.

    The same set with the very rare Cavalry Equipment Pattern 1940 Basic pouch, for those armed with SMGs.
    Note there should be a left and a right Basic pouch.
