French Desert Hat.

Hi Guys.

The dealer I bought this hat off, informed me that this is a French Legion style, not sure if this is correct, but I like it all the same, any thing you want to add to this feel free,I would welcome your comments.

There's a private collector/dealer in my city, who specialises in French militaria, I found out about him through ebay, so now we deal outside of ebay, less hassle, saves on deliveries, and I avoid bidding wars, etc.

My recent gem was the Daguet GW1 jacket, I've been after one of these for years, so I can now tick that one off my wish list

That's a good resource to have. Wish I had a private dealer here so as to avoid bidding wars on kit I'm after.

Yeah Mate, I was fairly chuffed, when I discovered the guy, I won a pair of trousers off him , he then contacted me and asked whether I wanted to collect them in person, and it's gone from there really...karma man, it's all good
