Is that NVG bracket real deal or a replica also? Those are super expensive on eBay! I was looking at getting one and then doing like you and getting the replica NVGs but i couldnt justify the price of that bracket! lol. Just one word of advice, SQUADRON ART! Whats up with no markings on the lids? They need some cool artwork (Preferably VF-2 - My old squadron haha) Very Happy Nice collection! I got me a nice current-issue USAF helmet/mask (Not sure of the model #). Found it at a local thrift shop for... you ready for this.... $2.30 !! haha. Its 9 out of 10 condition wise, serviceable. Headsets/microphone work and my buddy checked out the mask and it pumped air fine Very Happy

Awesome! I didn't even know you were allowed to buy those, certainly not your standard surplus shop fodder in any case. Now I've seen one I have a sudden desire to eventually assemble a mannequin replica of Maverick or Goose from Top Gun, but I don't even know if those would be the same style of helmet or no. Definitely interesting but way out of my element.

Yes the banana mount and the bracket are real.
I got mine some years ago today these things really expensive especially on ebay.

Three of the helmets have markings but there are some guys out there who let inspire to copy and sale them on ebay.
    I think you understand^^

$2.30 WOW I pay you 10 bugs do I get it? Smile Smile

    @ APreston
For the TOP GUN display you need a HGU-33 or better the Gibson & Barnes „Flight Suits“ HGU-33.
The company Flight Suits provides the helmets for the movie, you can see the logo in some scenes on the mask recivers on the helmets.

I also plan to make a display with the Mav and Goos helmets I love the movie (more the gear and air footages Rolling Eyes )
