Too cool for school!
Congrats, that is a really great set! Very different print from other desert DPM's.

Re: Portuguesse desert
I got my hands on one of the earlier ~2005+ sets, unfortunately quite faded - it's former user told me they used to batch-wash everything at 90ºc. It was used by Air Force personnel and anyone from the other branches attached to them on service. I believe it's been replaced by the one you show.
There was also at least one experimental pattern that featured more of an orange-ish tone, rather than the cream-white colour of the 2005 version.
I liked this set a lot more than the current desert issue - a few pictures follow of the set I have, dolmen (jacket), pants and issue shirt. The shirt was never worn so it's brand new.
Apologies for the crappy, gigantic cellphone pictures.

Re: Portuguesse desert
Kudos on yet another great grab!
I love the older, whiter version. The newer one looks too much like Bulgarian for my tastes. Don't get me wrong, I love the Bulgarian pattern. I just prefer things to look more unique

Re: Portuguesse desert
Wow. That's pretty interesting. The black and brown colors are the same screen, but inverted. The screen with the larger shapes is either different or not aligned in the same way between the two patterns.
