    yes roma desert 92 camo. the hat... i don't say if is original but our troops in somalia wear also a jungle 6 color usa. This remind me the russian panama...

    the hat is original and it was the standard issue. You can see it worn in many pictures. Since it made you look a bit goofy, soldiers started trading with US forces and chose to wear boonie hats. Paratroopers had their "Bigeard" cap with the same camo pattern.

    it exists also in other camo patterns Smile green, woodland and 1929 .

    Here's the 1929 pattern, although this one is not really the one issued to Paras but a custom version of cap worn by Comsubin. It was quite nice. You can see the pattern is the one used by the Navy.
