    Couple months ago I came across such jacket, My guess is that it`s sniper smock (the additional magazine pocket one upper left side) Unfortunatelly i sold it to my friend Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad and now trying to buy it back. It has additional reinforcments on shoulders, hood, a jump flap just like in the para smock. I wonder if it`s a combat modification or regular gov. issue. Anybody camed across similar jacket?     It looks like a modified version of the older issue sniper smock, but without seeing the back, I'm not sure.

    Did it have a tag, and if so, do you remember what it said?

    Its not a sniper smock.

    Its a heavily modified para smock.

    Sniper smocks have the lower pockets positioned to the sides.

    Looks like a Smock I have, mine was an SASS or Radar commission and only few were made, as I said it looks very similar and is well modified.
