    just a shot in the dark but looks like a US 50's 60s cap in Duck huner to me could be wrong

    The style is commonly called a "Ridgeway" cap, named after General Matthew Ridgeway. However, the US Army never had a hat like that produced in camouflage. Many South American countries used Duck Hunter camouflage and also US construction styles. It could be something like that.

    My advice is to keep this hat until you are 100% sure what it is. It could be very rare and valuable, or it might be just interesting and not very valuable.

    I would bet it is either from Central or South America. Steve G is giving you some sound advice when he says hold on to it until you figure out 100% what it is.
