I picked this Desert DPM Jacket up on Friday, Please correct me if im wrong but I think its the first pattern produced for Op Grandby, the front is fastened with an OPTI zip and bottons there is a pen pocket on the left sleeve and a First Field Dressing on the rear of the right sleeve bargin at 3 quid.

    Hi Gary
I went back for another look on tues and picked this up it has an OPTI zip and dark brown bottons on the front and a single pocket on the left sleeve in teabag fabric the cut is the same as my teabag junglies.

I now have my OP Granby jacket, this teabag jacket and a set of the S95 with slotted buttons can you tell me how many variations of DDPM there is because I saw some in the same fabric as the Granby one with dark brown buttons and no FFD pocket on the right sleve just the pen pocket on the left.Gary Im happy to trade whatcha want and whatcha got in trade.

Graham that's an interesting one, I believe this one may be post gulf War, due to the white cotton label, 99.9% of the Op Granby issues in my collection have the shiny creamy /yellow label. There were Jackets issued between 1991 and 2001, I penned these as Transitional .I do not know the official nomenclature of these I'm afraid...very interesting variations out there, one day I hope to be able to understand them all..

And yeah I'm always up for a trade, perhaps we can sent a list of wants to each other at some stage in the future. Wink

It looks like a DDPM vsersion of the tea bag junglies, the place i got them has the Granby type and a simular shirt with choclate brown buttons and only the pen pocket, I did find a S95 with 3 epps both front and sholders but it was a small size im going to go back in a few weeks and spend a couple of hours going through as much as I can but there is 2 rooms of DDPM and a room of DPM junglies.
