Chinese (or Hong Kong) made '68 pattern DPM jackets were issued and worn by the Royal Hong Kong Regiment, a British Territorial Army (i.e. Reserves) unit attached to the Gurkha Infantry Brigade that was stationed there prior to the British Handover in 1997. The RHKR(V) disbanded in 1995.

Unlike the unit DPM tropical uniforms which were locally made with UK materials, the combat jackets were made with locally sourced materials which weren't as durable or colour fast as the UK material, hence the rapid fading.

    That's very interesting info filupe.
Do you reckon this jacket is RHKR issued Question

I have no idea's but if it is then that's cool.
It cost me a fiver so I'm not gonna be gutted if it is just a cheap repro item.

    Thanks Mate Wink

Marshals can sometimes be useless, though... when I last played paintball, more dirty behaviour happened in the marshal's presence than in the deserted back side of the playing grounds! lol!

Totally agree with the general uselessness of some Marshalls, last time I went P'Balling, the Marshall was a hybrid of primary school teacher, staff sgt wannbe, and ultimetely a complete ****.

Bearing in mind most of my team, are former Commando's ( one being an infamous sniper in the Falklands) ,ex-sqauddies,and a Welsh farmers son to boot Laughing ,he was boring us with his retoric ,about marker safety,"Think of this is a weapon".

I knew a guy whose rule of thumb was "two in the face and one in the face." So long as game staff aren't looking... you can always say you were blind-firing... his mask is painted up, how can he refute your claims? Twisted Evil
