maybe but dreams are one of the things that separate us from animals (and non collectors) Laughing

But if someone like yourself can't get the stuff then there's not much hope for me is there ..... ?

What about the helmet Philip ? A difficult one to find ?

By the way, your avatar ...... camo by Kappa ?! Laughing

Sorry, I don't know if helmets are hard to find. Never been looking for one, I'm a uniform collector! Wink

Hey Dave, I think I can get you a pair of Swiss deserts. I believe I have them stored in my basement, next to my FG 42 prototypes and Montgomery's custom-tailored Denison smock... Very Happy Razz

Muaha, just ribbing you matey. The deserts are indeed rare and I don't think I know any in private hands. At least not among our small collecting circle.

i think you need to be a swiss citizen and there's no age limit... they don't have an actual army, i have a swiss friend who has a rifle and a uniform and if they ever have any trouble he just puts his gear on picks his riffle up and goes to battle hahaahah - it's kind like a "reserve" im sure they do have a very small contingent of actual full time soldiers...

I used to live and work in Switzerland Dani. For 2 years i lived in Geneva and worked at CERN on the Large Hadron Collider.

Used to see their part timers all the time heading to and from the main rail station.

Their standing army is indeed small but they have Spec Ops and instructing cadres. Not sure about artillery or tankers being full time. I never knew any Swiss. EVERY nationailty under th sun but not Swiss. For the duration i worked there i held Swiss citizenship and a Swiss bank account but had to hand them back when i left.
