just been offered some MTP PCS that have come from Hereford barracks. on the label they have the word custom not PCS. Anyone got any ideas

No they are the real thing, just not got them in my hands yet to see if there any major difference between them and the normal PCS

Yeah Helikon have rolled out their own PCS now. A guy I was talking to said that UK forces did prefer the Helikon stuff to the issue as it was much harder wearing but he was selling the stuff so I took it with a pinch of salt
