Article three is certainly not shade 107.
I have noticed something about Korea, in general. It seems that sometimes, they add things that are recognizable not so much as an effort to fake, but more an homage to things they respect.
Have you ever seen "Silmido?" Without passing any judgment as to the nature of the film itself, there's a scene where one of the instructors is looking at his watch, and it is clearly a Luminox copy (or, intended to be seen as such), and there's a "Navy Seals" legend printed on the face. Whereas this is an obvious continuity flaw, it is also intended to make a point, I think, to the Korean audience. Part of the storytelling-- not unlike how the Japanese will title something or name a thing after a famous person, who has nothing to do with the item or work in question.
I don't see it as deception, or foolishness, so much as "honor."
