At the encouragement of sh4pak, I will be photographing our (Dad and I) knife collection over the next bit and posting them here on the forum. I didn't think there'd be much interest in knives since this is mainly a camo forum, but since IACMC encompasses all eras and all militaria, I figured I'd go ahead and post a few knives. 
This knife belongs to my dad and he picked this one up last wekeend at a gun show. The blade is stamped USMC on one side and Ka-Bar on the other. The hanlde has been replaced with some kind of wood. The cross guard and butt have been replaced with what appears to be brass.
I think the coolest part of this knife is that the butt has a stylized eagle on it. Very well used knife that I'm sure could tell a few stories if it could talk.
If anyone needs clearer pictures, I can take some more in the sunlight tomorrow. Thanks
