A humble collection of PECOC Hybrid DPM from Hong Kong

Hello All!

I am a new member from Hong Kong, after reading
the posts here for a little while, I decided to register
and try to share my humble collection with other collectors
all over the world.

Please take a look on my little collection and leave me some
comment for the sake of a better collection.

P.S.> I apologize for the ugly watermark on the picture, since
some of my previous pictures posted in the local forum were stolen
by some losers and re-posted on the "military photo.net" with
disgusting comment added some days ago, I therefore have no choice
but to add those ugly watermark on my pictures.

As I know, the Osprey MK3 in Hybrid DPM has been widely used in Op Herrick (I am not sure which batch)
before the Osprey Assault / Osprey MK4 were issued, please refers to the bottom right corner of my first
picture here.

And some of my friends told me that, the Royal Marines are testing the Hybrid DPM items again in 2012,
although I have no evidence nor pictures to support, but the source of information is quite realiable.

Hybrid DPM items are sometime available in ebay, or if you are interested,
I have some utility pouches more.

As I remember, there are several difference between Osprey MK1 and MK2.

(1) the number of buttons for the attachment of arm protectors;
(Left: MK1 / Right: MK2)



(2) The method of "closing" of both sides of the armour;
(MK1 : double layers of velcro / MK2 : one layer plus cumberband inside)

(3) Sling
(MK1 : No / MK2: Yes)

(4) Small modification on arm protectors.

Went to an airsoft game today after work, tried the following set up:

(1) MK.7 Combat Helmet with MK6A MTP cover, NVG Mount and Mockingbird;
(2) Bowman PRR;
(3) Osprey MK3 Body Armour - Hybrid DPM ;
(4) Hybrid DPM Webbing Set;
(5) MTP PCS Uniform;
(6) MTP gloves;
(7) STAR/ARES - SA80 / L85A2 IW rifle with D.D.RIS and replica surefire flash-hider;
( Meindl Desert Boots.




Osprey MK3 - Hybrid DPM plus Hybrid DPM webbing together is actually quite good looking and not bad in use at all.

Beautiful set! DD rail system is Real steel or Airsoft copy?

Why would you risk possibly ruining rare trial kit by using it in airsoft?!?
