Ever any Canadian M81 woodland issued?

    Hi All,

Just came across a 'stock' US M81 woodland shirt in a local 2nd hand store. It had name tag right and a 'Canadian Army' on the left side on the chest, both wellworn.

Has M81 ever been used or trialled by the Canadian Forces, please, or has someone been creative?

    US Woodland Camouflage

Consider it creative badging. Other than the M1 and PASGT Helmet covers, PASGT Body Armnour, Ranger Blankets and Gortex Socks, US Woodland BDU uniform items were not issued to Canadian miltiary personnel. Even if the uniform in question had been used by a Canadian Exchange Officer, which is highly unlikely, also there is no Canadian military badge that reads "Canadian Army". Legit Canadian used foreign manufactured uniforms that I have in my collection all sport the Canada badge.

Cheers edstorey, I suspected as much.

I'll leave it in the store then, to an uncertain future as a piece of hipster apparel then!
Thank you for your quick response!
