Desert Camo Unifrom, That I Always Thought Was Commercial

This week I bought out a dealers back inventory, and he has been in business forever.
Lots of misc. stuff, but the was one box full of these uniforms.
I have always believed they were made for the commercial / surplus market. When I said that to him, he replied they were originally made by a commercial company and sent to either Abu Dhabi or Oman, he couldn't remember which. He said he couldn't get any for almost a year, as all the pieces the factory was making was being exported. I don't coubt him, as he isn't the type to make up stories or just pass on rumors.
Again, I always thought these were only for the commercial market so will wait to hear what anyone else knows.

I too had always thought this was a commercial pattern. I've passed up I don't know how many sets, thinking it was another of Rothco's fashion patterns.

I've seen a lot more of it showing up lately, though. Cool stuff either way!
