Recently received two "Pantera" shirts in different weights of the material. One is made of the "normal" thick polish material, the other is lightweight. Is that a summer or a tropical variation? Does the continental Polish Army have a separate summer uniform?

The lightweight fabric uniform is for jungle applications as was explained to me, for use on UN missions such as Haiti or central africa. They also issue a boonie hat in same riptsop fabric in identical cut to the desert uniform.

Few years ago lightweight fabric uniform was used only at "hot weather missions" now it's also standard to use it in Poland.
