The local surplus store gets in the occasional gem from time to time. This is one oddity which popped up recently. I have always associated black velcro'd DCU with the Rangers, not with an outfit like the 25th Inf. Div. Although this had lost its rank patches, I was lucky for it to still have the nametag and luckier still to have the velcro'd 25th ID SSI and subdued USNF still attached.
The right arm upper velcro patch is larger than the upper left - perhaps for a larger combat patch? (1st Cav or 2nd Inf. Div?)
