Identify a missing patche in a woodland coat.

Post by jose ramon on Sat Dec 01, 2012 10:47 pm

    Hello:
I want to identify this missing patch. I highlight the stitching, (even, can be read something pressed, an P or B, an O, an S), the shield shape measures 2 ¼" x 3 ½" (6x9cm).
    Thanks in advance.

    DLA100-88-C-0631
    STOCK NO. 8415-01-084-1648

I also forgot to mention is a US Army BDU.
    Berlin Brigade!
The O and the S could be a trick of the light and shadow, but I also think "POTSDAM" or "BOSNIA" but I did not find the patch matching the shape and measures.

--Looks like it might be 21st Cav, 2nd Field Force, 2nd Support Brigade... or possibly others (my money is actually on 2nd Support).

    Check this out: http://www.usamilitarymedals.com/army-class-uniform-full-color-patches-army-class-uniform-patches-full-color-c-2069_2551_2552.html

Of course, to put this thing back together properly, you'd need a subdued patch... but this gives you the proper shapes for the class-A's.

    Best of Luck,

Thanks for the clue, I made this quick test, tried to use the exact measures and superimposed the stitching. What is your opinion?

On the right shoulder, try 18th MP Brigade. Hope this helps.
