Great examples of these often overlooked garments Parafal!

I have an 85 dated woodland jacket in my collection, but mine has pockets on the arms, I thought mine like yours was an M81 model, I not not so sure now?

"M81" denotes the camouflage pattern - not the garment pattern.

    --Parafal, you're into NBC gear?

I've got an groundcrew coverall, chemical protective & fire-resistant that I'd be happy to part with to someone who actually collects the stuff.: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8026/7415475182_aa84865448_c.jpg

    PM me if you're interested.

I had a pair of these trousers when I went on school work experience on a building site back in the late 80's early 90's. Nice and thick warm trousers for work but I would hated to fight in them as over trousers. I remember the trousers having white army stencil letting all over them like camo , think they said exercise on then ?

    Gary,
your suit is known as a Class 1 model, the trousers for the set look almost like BDU's with the pockets on the side instead of in the front.
Class 1 suits came in Woodland and Class 2 suits where 6 color day desert pattern.

    M81" denotes the camouflage pattern

Does it or is it another collectorism?
