What Camo is This? Empty What Camo is This?

    Post by Camo_fiend Mon Mar 25, 2013 9:04 pm

Was doing some research on experimental patterns this evening and came across this photo:

    What Camo is This? Ccu10

It appears to be the same pattern as the Urban Track camo used in the Natick trials, but in a different colouration. Does anyone have any information on it?

Desert/Urban Tracks. There was actually four Tack patterns, with two of them (maybe more?) being slightly modified for a final round of testing. The four types were for the four categories within the test; Woodland, Desert, Urban, and Desert/Urban.

All test patterns were initially made in BDU style. Only a few select patterns were made into CCU style. The standard ones seen are:

    Woodland
    Urban Tracks
    Skorpion (what became Multicam)
    3 Color Desert

Up until this picture I've not seen evidence of a CCU in any other pattern other than the above.

I got a hold of a bunch of cloth and had some BDUs made in it. Here's a picture:

Ooh, very nice. I like the look of this pattern better than Urban Track.

    How'd you find the cloth?

Random find. I'm pretty sure it's all been bought up.
