This is a great vest....but the seller has obviously been smoking some kind of illegal substance. This vest may be worth several hundred dollars, but certainly not $10,000. I have never seen any photographic evidence of this vest being worn by any USSF soldiers before, during, or after Desert Storm. I know that American Body Armor made numerous vests and items that were used by the USSF during the 80's and 90's time period. I have several of the ABA tan LBV's, but have never found any of 6-color vests in the surplus shops. Hope this helps. In summation, good vest......TERRIBLE price.

    Drew,
Why would you feel stupid? We are amongst friends here and no one should ever feel stupid for expressing an opinion. Honestly...it DOES look like something air-softers would wear. The only reason I know it is good is because of the ABA maker. No worries, bro!!! Very Happy Very Happy

Crack has apparently found a market in Hong Kong Very Happy I've seen unissued Vietnam SEAL stuff go for 1/10th that price, and there's documentation for that stuff! Heck, I don't remember seeing WWII German stuff go for that much.

Oh well, if he really wants to sell it he'll drop a couple of zeros.
